Pendant lights

Pendant luminaires emit their light downwards and are often adjustable in height, which allowing you to provide a variety of lighting solutions. A pendant lamp can be used for 3 types of lighting:

• Room lighting

• Area lighting

• Mood lighting

If you want to use the pendant lamp as room lighting, you can mount luminaire relatively high and illuminate the entire room. The classic placement for a pendant lamp is over the table. Here it works as area lighting. The size of the lamp must fit the size of the table so that the lamp is not too large. If you have a larger table, you can easily place two or more pendant lamps above it. A good rule is, that pendant lamps should be hung 50-70 cm above the table. Using a pendant lamp with dimmer can be used to create a mood.In order to prevent harsh light from disturbing the pleasant atmosphere it is very important to choose glare-free lampshades and right bulbs.
